Public Hearing for the 2019 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program
Community Public Hearing: May 23, 2019 at 5:30 pm, Moore City Hall, 301 N. Broadway.
The City of Moore will receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG funds can support a broad range of community projects and activities, provided such projects and activities meet one or more of the following national objectives: 1) benefit low and moderate-income persons; 2) aid in the prevention and elimination of slum or blight; or 3) meet other community development needs of a particular urgency and for which other funding sources are not available.
The City of Moore has scheduled a Community-Wide public hearing to obtain citizen input and explain the CDBG Entitlement Program, eligible activities, and related matters.
The Public Hearing is open to all residents of Moore and any persons or organizations desiring to speak on this matter will be afforded an opportunity to be heard. The City of Moore encourages participation from all its citizens. If participation at any public hearing is not possible due to a disability (such as a hearing or speech disability) or language barrier, notification to the City Clerk at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled public hearing is encouraged to allow the City to make the necessary accommodations.

The Adjustments (Collections) team is growing! Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) is seeking an experienced Adjustments Supervisor to join our team in OKC. This position will complement our fresh team atmosphere of compelling employees by providing outstanding service as well as identifying members’ financial needs. This position will lead support staff and adjustors (collectors) in default resolution, monitoring collection of accounts, and provide training. Schedules can be subject to change and individuals must be flexible to work any shift between the department hours of 8:00am - 7:00pm Monday -Thursday; 9:00am - 6:00pm Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm rotating Saturdays.
Qualified candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ experience in credit and collections or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced/proficient knowledge of: Bankruptcy Code, Uniform Commercial Code, UCCC and bankruptcy revision act of 1994, Reg. CC, Reg. B, Reg. Z, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, private mortgage insurance, Fannie Mae and VA reporting requirements, courtroom procedures and legislation affecting collections, collateral protection insurance policy and reporting requirements.
