Energy FC wrapped up preseason with a 4-0 win over FC Tucson of USL League One Saturday afternoon in Tucson, Ariz. Jaime Chavez, Ray Saari, Frank Lopez and Arun Basuljevic found the back of the net, while the defense locked things down to keep a clean sheet.

Chavez capped off a prolific preseason with his seventh goal in eight games, putting the Greens ahead early off a feed from Jose Hernandez.

Saari opened his Energy account with a goal to double the lead heading into the halftime break. Basuljevic picked up the assist.

Shortly after the second-half restart, Basuljevic found Lopez with the latter making in 3-0 with a blast from distance.

Basuljevic finished the scoring with a goal of his own just a few minutes later after driving into the penalty area before firing home through traffic.

Energy FC begins the 2020 USL Championship season at Taft Stadium March 7 at 7 p.m. against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

Energy FC and the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum have partnered to pay tribute to the victims of April 19, 1995. A special kit has been designed for 2020, which also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the tragedy that claimed 168 lives.

“The events of the Oklahoma City Bombing, nearly 25 years ago, forever changed the lives of all Oklahomans,” said Jeff Kretchmar, Energy FC Chief Operating Officer. “The strength and love that followed that day inspired a nation and has shaped the direction of our city. When the opportunity came to help the Oklahoma City Memorial and Museum, Energy FC wanted to make sure that it was a tribute worthy of this occasion.”

The field player kit, which includes a black shirt, black shorts and black socks, has silver accents to commemorate the 25th anniversary. There is also a silver Survivor Tree on the nape of the neck.

The goalkeeper jerseys feature the same silver anniversary details, but the prominent color of the shirt is coral.

Field player jerseys are available for pre-order at shop.energyfc.com with 20% of the proceeds donated to the OKC Memorial and Museum. Additionally, the player-worn match shirts will be auctioned off at the end of the season with proceeds going to the Memorial.

The team will wear these for the 2020 Home Opener this Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at Taft Stadium.
