Oklahoma City.- Sarai Rodríguez, estudiante de Mid America University ha sido nombrada por el National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA-) jugador del año, anunció la organización.
"Sarai ha tenido un año increíble y me siento muy orgullosa de ella y este logro especial," dijo el entrenador de MACU Hannah Moeller. "Creo que sin duda fue bien merecido. A lo largo de su carrera, Rodríguez se unió al club 1,000, el más grande de los puntos en la historia de NAIA de MACU.

Rodriguez Named NCCAA Player of the Year
Mid-America Christian University junior guard Sarai Rodriguez has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Player of the Year, the organization has announced.
The honor also comes with a first-team NCCAA All-America nod for Rodriguez.
“Sarai had an incredible year and I am extremely proud of her and this special accomplishment,” MACU head coach Hannah Moeller said.
“I believe beyond any doubt it was well-earned. She is a tireless worker who is committed to becoming better every day. I am sure it will be one among many special recognitions. I am proud of her and excited to see what still lies ahead for her in the program.”
Rodriguez helped the Evangels to a program-best (as an NAIA school) 23 wins this season and their first NCCAA Central Regional Championship since the 2010-11 season.
Along the way, Rodriguez joined the 1,000 point club for her career, the most points in MACU’s NAIA history.
