Programa de lectura de verano Iniciará con el desfile anual

Moore Oklahoma.- El verano está casi aquí, y eso significa que el programa anual de lectura de verano trae movimiento a la comunidad a través de las actividades en la biblioteca pública de Moore.
El tema de este año, "Las Bibliotecas Rock!" está dando una oportunidad a explorar rocas literalmente con el personal del Museo de osteología con programas de música y arte dirigido por una variedad de artistas locales.
Una tradición anual de la biblioteca pública de Moore es su desfile de lectura de verano por las calles de Moore. El desfile comienza a las 10:00 a.m. el jueves 31 de mayo, en el pasillo de la ciudad de Moore, con los participantes todos haciendo el paseo a la biblioteca para una mañana con música, juegos, artesanías, dulces y más. Todas las edades están invitadas a marchar en el desfile.
Patrocinadores para el programa de lectura de verano de este año son la fundación Anne & Henry Zarrow, Hitachi Computer Products of America Inc., Institute of Museum and Library Services, Oklahoma College Savings Plan, the Pioneer Library System, Pioneer Library System Foundation, Sonic – America’s Drive-In, Corp., the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Oklahoman Newspapers in Education.

Kick off Summer Reading Program with annual parade

Moore, Oklahoma .-Summer is almost here, and that means the annual Summer Reading Program bringing a jolt of activity to the community through the activities at the Moore Public Library.
This year’s theme, “Libraries Rock!” is giving a chance to explore literal rocks with the Museum of Osteology or PLS Maker Mobile staff to “rocking” with music and art programs led by a variety of local performers.
An annual Moore Public Library tradition is its Summer Reading Parade through the streets of Moore. The parade begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 31, at Moore City Hall, with participants all making the walk to the library for a morning of music, games, crafts, treats and more that begins about 10:30.
All ages are invited to march in the parade.
