Lo que hoy es, mañana ya no es. Todo se mueve a un ritmo vertiginoso. En el mismo entorno, por el que nos movemos y cohabitamos, ocurre una permanente crónica de tensiones que provoca inestabilidad y situaciones impredecibles. Por si fuera poco el clima de despropósitos, también las contiendas absurdas se han intensificado, lo que dificulta la respuesta humanitaria inmediata. Me da la sensación que hemos perdido el sosiego y, por ende, un sano intelecto, que cumpla con sus obligaciones innatas. Desde luego, un alto en el camino nos vendrá bien, para repensar actuaciones y reparar daños. Quizás, al tiempo, deberíamos reeducarnos en actitudes de vínculos fraternos, para adquirir conciencia de la justicia y voluntad de talante armónico. Será bueno, por consiguiente, que entremos en la dinámica de un pueblo, de una familia que aglutina lo humano con lo celeste.
Debiéramos aprender de nuestra propia historia, al menos para no caer en las mismas debilidades de siempre. Sabemos que las guerras forjan catástrofes humanitarias y de derechos humanos, causan traumas imborrables a seres indefensos, además de activar multitud de crisis como puede ser la energética o la alimentaria. Sin embargo, nada parece importarnos, vamos a nuestros intereses, sin miramiento alguno. Conocemos, igualmente, lo vital que es para la humanidad en su conjunto caminar unidos para seguir allanando el camino, lo que nos exige un cambio en nosotros mismos y, de igual forma, reforzar el Estado de Derecho y las instituciones democráticas. Lo humanitario es establecer una corriente vivificante que nos ponga en camino y en comunión de corazón, incluso en medio de la debilidad.
No podemos continuar bajo el paraguas del descontrol, nos demuele todo el ciclo de la vida, dejándonos desolados y sin espíritu de continuidad. Entonces no caigamos en la tentación de generar violencia en un mundo deshumanizado, aprendamos a queremos y a no buscar la seguridad interior en los éxitos, en los placeres vacíos, en las dominaciones. Ciertamente, los contextos son inimaginables, en una tierra en combate permanente. Hay que volver a la sensatez, poner límites, activar el discernimiento, examinarlo todo y quedarnos con lo bueno. A partir de aquí, hay que renacerse y no dejarse anestesiar la conciencia, para reconocer los caminos auténticos de la libertad. Igualmente, también nos será saludable explorar el poder de lo minúsculo para reconciliarnos con el pasado, subsanando tácticas y maneras perversas.
En cualquier caso, hemos de huir de la confrontación que germina de una retórica envenenada, para adentrarnos en corporación a sembrar abecedarios de concordia a nuestro alrededor. Claro que sí, todo podemos hacerlo. Salgamos de esta atmósfera que planea venganza. Pongamos los ojos en ese poeta en guardia que todos llevamos consigo y que camina con lenguajes níveos, a contracorriente de lo mundano, fruto de su propia originalidad previsible o de su natural inspiración. Con demasiada frecuencia, incluso se produce una peligrosa confusión. Creemos que lo sabemos todo, que lo dominamos todo, y lo más importante lo tenemos abandonado, ¡aún no hemos aprendido a convivir! Para desgracia nuestra, tampoco hemos asimilado el vivir desviviéndonos por los demás, como hermanos, en parte por la conflictividad que genera la competitividad. Sin duda, son precisamente las egoístas competiciones por el caudal monetario, el mayor desgaste sensible, tanto de ahogo como de acoso.
Por ello, ante esta decadencia humanitaria, solo cabe escucharse mar adentro para hallar la vía de salida de todo ello. Lo trascendental es no desfallecer en los intentos de afrontar los momentos arduos, que a veces nos surgen en instantes imprevisibles e inesperados, con situaciones de incendio bélico y ruina total. Sea como fuere, no es de justicia acrecentar las desigualdades, como tampoco lo es debilitar el sistema internacional de seguridad colectiva que todos nos hemos comprometido a defender. En este sentido, me sonrojan las amenazas de utilizar armas nucleares como, de idéntico modo, es inaceptable no haber avivado todavía la cultura del encuentro entre seres pensantes. No olvidemos, que la base de una globalización debe modelarse según el abecedario de lo fraterno, que es donde se sustenta la acción de entenderse y respetarse. Únicamente así se edifica la paz. Hagamos autocrítica, pues.
