Cómo cumplir las metas del 2024

Cuando llega enero, pasa lo mismo de siempre… ¿Cuántos años llevas diciendo que bajarás de peso, harás más ejercicios, ahorrarás dinero y organizarás mejor tu casa? Este 2024 haz algo diferente: olvídate de reciclar la lista de siempre y en vez de pensar en todo lo que te gustaría cumplir, bájate de la nube de deseos y evalúa lo que realmente está a tu alcance. Mientras más realistas o concretas sean tus propósitos, menos posibilidades tendrás de rendirte a comienzo o a mitad de camino. Un objetivo del tipo “quiero ser más feliz, saludable o más flaca” es ambiguo; establece cuáles actos específicos generarán bienestar en ti.
Concéntrate en una meta a la vez: Puedes realizar una lista con todo lo que deseas conseguir este 2024 en el plano personal, familiar, laboral o económico; sin embargo, por más “Mujer Maravilla” o “Super Man” que te creas, sólo vas escoger una meta y escribir un plan de acción para llevarlo a cabo. Cuando lleves varias semanas o meses bien encaminado y notando pequeños logros, puedes escoger una segunda o tercera meta.
Diseña un plan de acción específico: Cuando dices que quieres comer saludable, salir a caminar, viajar, saldar deudas o dedicarte más tiempo a ti, son deseos que se quedan “en el aire” porque no basta con desear y soñar. Cuando escojas la meta, evalúa qué tienes que hacer específicamente para comenzar y mantenerte enfocado. Comienza paso a paso y aumenta la cantidad de actividades semana tras semana. Es bien importante tener un calendario donde escribas todo lo que tienes que hacer. Además de servir como recordatorio, te mantendrá enfocado en la meta y te ayudará a anticipar modificaciones.
Cree en ti y vístete de paciencia: Habrán ocasiones que quizás no estés viendo los resultados que esperabas tener en el camino, pero ten por seguro que más adelante los verás. Confía, esfuérzate y no te rindas.
Cuando logres una primera, segunda y tercera meta, así sean pequeñas, te darás cuenta el poder que tienes para lograr lo que quieras este 2024.
