OKLAHOMA CITY – La Cámara de Representantes no aprobó un proyecto de ley que habría requerido que las escuelas públicas estatales gastaran al menos el 50% de sus fondos en el salón de clases.
El proyecto de ley 1280 de la Cámara de Representantes, escrito por el representante Chad Caldwell, republicano de Enid, habría requerido que cualquier distrito que gaste menos del 50% en instrucción aumente esa cantidad en un 2% cada año hasta que se alcance el porcentaje objetivo.
"Los habitantes de Oklahoma quieren ver a los niños de Oklahoma tener un mejor rendimiento académico", dijo Caldwell.
