La Sociedad Histórica de Oklahoma será anfitrión de Noche de Trivia

OKLAHOMA CITY — ¿Puede nombrar el condado más grande de Oklahoma por área? ¿Conoces la ciudad natal de Oklahoma del hombre que dio voz al Pato Donald? ¡Es hora de desempolvar tu gorra de pensamiento para Oklahoma Trivia Night! History Center, un proyecto de la Sociedad Histórica de Oklahoma (OHS por sus siglas en inglés), será el anfitrión de Oklahoma Trivia Night el jueves 8 de septiembre, a partir de las 6 p.m. en Angry Scotsman Brewing, ubicado en 704 W. Reno Ave. en Oklahoma City.

Las preguntas cubrirán temas como geografía, política, cultura popular, deportes y todo lo demás. Reúna un equipo y haga que su maestro de historia de Oklahoma de la escuela secundaria se sienta orgulloso. La Sociedad Histórica de Oklahoma proporcionará premios para los ganadores.

Oklahoma Trivia Night es organizado por History OffCenter y BanjoBug Trivia. History OffCenter es una serie de OHS centrada en experiencias inmersivas y atractivas. Con un énfasis en el alcance comunitario, esta serie presenta programas que son exploraciones en profundidad de los vecindarios, el funcionamiento interno de la OHS y las épocas históricas. “El objetivo no es solo compartir nuestra historia en el Centro de Historia de Oklahoma (hogar de la OHS), sino también llegar a nuestra comunidad y atraer nuevos miembros a la OHS.”

Oklahoma Historical Society to Host Oklahoma Trivia Night

OKLAHOMA CITY — Can you name Oklahoma’s largest county by area? Do you know the Oklahoma hometown of the man who voiced Donald Duck? It’s time to dust off your thinking cap for Oklahoma Trivia Night! History OffCenter, a project of the Oklahoma Historical Society (OHS), will host Oklahoma Trivia Night on Thursday, September 8, starting at 6 p.m. at Angry Scotsman Brewing, located at 704 W. Reno Ave. in Oklahoma City.

Questions will cover topics including geography, politics, popular culture, sports and everything in between. Put a team together and make your high school Oklahoma history teacher proud. The Oklahoma Historical Society will provide prizes for the winners.

Oklahoma Trivia Night is hosted by History OffCenter and BanjoBug Trivia. History OffCenter is a series from the OHS focused on immersive, engaging experiences. With an emphasis on community outreach, this series features programs that are in-depth explorations of neighborhoods, the inner workings of the OHS and historical eras. The goal is not only to share our history at the Oklahoma History Center (home of the OHS), but also to reach out to our community and attract new members to the OHS.
