Oklahoma City Oklahoma – AAA ofrece servicio de remolque otra vez este año a los que se sienten inseguros al volante después de beber durante el largo fin de semana de Memorial Day. Para acceder a Tipsy Tow, llame al 1-800-222-4357 (AAA-HELP), diga, "Necesito un remolque" y AAA Oklahoma hará el resto.

Don’t Let a DUI Ruin Your Memorial Day Weekend

AAA provides Tipsy Tow – a safe, free alternative for impaired drivers.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.- AAA’s Tipsy Tow service is being offered again this year to those who feel unsafe behind the wheel after drinking over the long Memorial Day weekend. The driver receives a free ride home and so does the car.
“Let’s face it, when we drink alcohol, one of the first things we lose is the ability to make good decisions,” said Chuck Mai, spokesman for AAA Oklahoma. “This results in drunk drivers climbing behind the wheel thinking everything will turn out okay. Well, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. Why take a chance. Use designated drivers, call a cab or request a free Tipsy Tow from AAA.”
The service is available to AAA members and nonmembers this weekend from 6 p.m. Friday, May 27 until 4 a.m. Tuesday, May 31 in metro Oklahoma City, metro Tulsa, Lawton, Ardmore, Bartlesville, Tahlequah, Muskogee, Shawnee and Enid.
To access Tipsy Tow, call 1-800-222-4357 (AAA-HELP), say, “I need a Tipsy Tow” and AAA Oklahoma will do the rest. The service is offered at no charge, no questions asked. AAA will give you, up to one more person, and your car a ride home, within a 15-mile radius from the point of pick-up, anytime during the 82-hour period.
If you’re traveling out of state this weekend, please be advised that Tipsy Tow is not a nationwide program. Check with local AAA clubs to see if it’s available in the areas you’ll be visiting.
