Calle Dos Cinco celebrates the Latino Culture in the Historic Capitol Hill District. OKCine Latino Film Festival promotes the impact of this Latino culture in cinema, showcasing local and international filmmakers. The ticketed event, Opening Night, will feature "International Latino Short Films" and for the first time, "Feature Length Films" at the OCCC Capitol Hill Center.

The event will also feature high school student shorts created by the young filmmakers from the 4-week Youth Film Workshop: Class III instructed by Rogelio Almeida Jr. and Victor Caballero. The workshop provides hands-on experience in the filmmaking world and the opportunity to meet professionals involved in this industry.

Almeida shares his excitement, “This year, the OKCine Latino Film Festival celebrates 5 years of Latino culture through cinema, highlighting the importance of the artistic and educational value of all films. Through the workshops, we’re able to help guide the young minds of Oklahoma’s next generation of filmmakers.”
